Mission
The National Association of Independent Medical Equipment Suppliers (NAIMES) is a provider support organization established to motivate and unify the silent majority of DME providers to positively change the perception of the HME industry through improved personal relationships with Congress.

Purpose
The purpose of NAIMES is:
- to create a force of independent HME providers with a shared vision for the future of the industry.
- to create and project a unified message and voice to Congress through provider relationships in their home districts.
- to provide support, assistance and services to its members.
- to support state association organizations in the accomplishment of their missions and goals.
- to promote the survival and growth of the independent HME provider as a foundational element in home care services and the health care system.
- to partner with other organizations that share and support our mission and goals.
- to be responsive to providers and state association leaders in formulation of plans, policy, and direction of NAIMES.
- to be accountable fiscally and operationally to our members.
